Interview with Anabelle Boo: A Shy Sweet Cat

Beanie Boo Fan Club is honored to have an opportunity to interview one of the sweetest, most shy Beanie Boos around, Anabelle Boo.

Fan Club: Anabelle, thank you so much for agreeing to this interview.

Anabelle: You’re welcome. I’m purrfectly happy to speak to you.

Fan Club: Thank you for inviting us to your home. What do you live in a lighthouse?

Anabelle: As you know, I am a cat. And we really enjoy sitting up high and watching everything. I couldn’t think of a better place for a feline than up in a lighthouse where I can perch and keep an eye on the world, especially at night.

Fan Club: That makes sense.

Anabelle: It’s also a quiet place. I like to read at night under the stars, without too much noise!

Fan Club: What’s your favorite book?

Anabelle: I absolutely love the Jenny Linsky series. It’s about a black cat who wears a red scarf and lives in New York City. She’s very shy, like me, but she manages to make friends by joining a cat club that meets in her backyard.

Fan Club: You mentioned friends. Do you have a BFF?

Anabelle: I do! My best friend is Gatsby, a white dog with black ears.

Fan Club: A dog? That’s wonderful! What do you two do together?

Anabelle: Gatsby is a little more outgoing than I am, so he gets me out of my lighthouse and inspires me to go on adventures. We like to fly kites, and ride scooters and climb trees.

Fan Club: Our readers want to know the story behind your gold necklace. Was it a special gift from Gatsby?

Anabelle: Oh no! This necklace was given to me by my litter mates! We were born on Christmas – and this necklace is made up of golden Christmas trees. It reminds me of my family and where I come from. We all have a matching golden tree necklace, actually.
