Charlotte and Marcel Go on Vacation

By Charlotte & Marcel Boo

PS Readers: When you can’t find your favorite Beanie Boos, relax! They very might be on a vacation. You can pass the time most easily by keeping yourself occupied. They could always come back home in the meantime while you’re keeping busy by cleaning your room, for example.

Being a Beanie Boo is hard work. We have a lot of responsibilities, including:

  • Laying on beds and looking cute
  • Maintaining our soft fur and shiny eyes
  • Hugging our owners
  • Hanging from backpacks (keychain Beanies)
  • Going on playdates
  • Playing with our owners and other Beanie Boos
  • Helping with homework

To refresh ourselves, we need to take vacations.

That is exactly what I just did with my good friend Marcel, a loyal and protective puppy.

Here are some highlights from our most recent trip to Boo Island, a tropical resort, exclusively for Beanie Boos.

Boo Falls

One of the most beautiful features of Boo Island is Boo Falls, a waterfall surrounded by red rocks.

Marcel would like to add some comments about our waterfall experience.

The Swimming Pool

We spent a lot of time at the swimming pool.

Since I’m a cat and really don’t like getting wet, I hung out on the beach chairs. Marcel did his best doggy paddle in the pool with the other pups, penguins (boy can they swim fast), turtles and dolphins.

The Wishing Fountain

Our resort had a fountain that you could make wishes into. We both threw in pennies and wished to be back home with our owner, as soon as possible. The best part about going on a vacation, of course, is coming home.

Marcel would like to share some more information about his wish.

Coming Home

And just like that, we were home. Our owner said she thought we were lost, hugged us extra tight, and invited us to sleep in the bed with her.

Life is good.
