Summer Fun Ideas for Beanie Boos

Yeah!!! It’s summer time. Time to get off the bed, out of the toy box and out under the bright blue sky. Here are some ideas for Beanie Boo summer travel.

Fishing Trip

Check out this picture of us, Reagan and Sophie, on our recent camping trip. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a Calico Critter or bath tub toy boat, take it out to a creek or lake nearby and go fishing! If you’re a cat, there is nothing tastier, especially prepared over a campfire.

Don’t worry about getting your fur wet. On a warm sunny day, it should dry in 1 to 2 hours.

Nature Hike

If you can get to the backyard, why not go on a nature hike? Our friend Kiki found a small plastic Littlest Pet Shop basket, leapt out the window and spent 4 hours exploring the backyard. She did some tree climbing, lizard chasing, insect identification and flower picking. In other words, she had a blast.

Let’s face it – as a beloved Beanie Boo it’s not always easy to get outside. Sometimes our owners like us stay all day on their beds. Sometimes, we’re 6 layers deep in a toy box. That’s why we need to work together with our fellow boos to hatch escape plans.

If your house has a pet door, that’s the best option. Otherwise, work on your window leaping skills. If all else fails, follow your owner out (secretly) and then hide in the bushes until the coast is clear.

At Home Attractions

If getting outside is impossible, look around your home. Maybe there are some attractions you and your Boo friends could try out. Here’s Joey giving the home ball pit a try. “This. Is. Amazing!!!,” Joey says, “It’s like swimming but you don’t even have to get your fur wet.”

Make the home your playground. Look for things you can climb or bounce on. Lean on a big pillow and build your own slide. Use your imagination and there is no limit to the fun you can have inside your own house!
