1. Get Ready to See the World

   The best part about being a keychain is that you get out of the house, go for rides in cars and get to see a little bit of the world. If your owner walks to school, you’ll get to bounce around on a backpack. Be sure to help your owner get to school safely by shouting out common hazards: cars, bikes and hungry-looking dogs.

2. Keep Quiet at School

   Whatever you do, don’t bark, meow or growl at school. If you make noise, the teacher will snatch you and may even ban you from ever coming back to school. Don’t distract your owner too much with your cuteness, either. School is a fascinating place, for sure, but one where your owner needs to concentrate and learn.

3. Go Out for Recess If You Can

   Recess is when your owner will get to run around and play outside with his or her friends. If you are invited, be sure to go and have a great time. You may be very popular with the other children. Be sure you don’t get lost on the school playground.

4. If You Get Dirty, It’s a Badge of Honor

   You are going to have a lot more opportunities to get dirty by being a backpack Beanie Boo. Don’t worry – it’s okay. Having marked and matted fur means you’re loved and attended to.

5. Share Your Experiences with Home Beanies

   Don’t forget that most Beanie Boos spend all their time in toy boxes and on beds. When you get back home, be sure to share everything you’ve seen and heard at school. Keep those big eyes open so you can notice and remember all of the details of the outside world.
